Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor is currently seeking candidates for our Nurse Aide Training Class (CNA)!
Position Overview
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are interested in starting a fulfilling career in healthcare. As a Nurse Aide, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. This is an entry-level role that can serve as a stepping stone for advancement in the healthcare field.
Responsibilities
As a Nurse Aide, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting patients with mobility and ambulation
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nurse
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Assisting with medical procedures, such as wound care and catheterization
- Documenting patient care activities accurately and timely
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent

Training Program Details
Our Nurse Aide Training Class is designed to prepare candidates for the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) exam. The training program consists of classroom instruction, hands-on skills practice, and clinical experience in a healthcare setting. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will be eligible to take the state certification exam.
