Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Clayton Heating and Air Conditioning
At Clayton Heating and Air Conditioning, our mission is to "Clear the Air with Clear the Air HVAC."We are a trusted HVAC service provider that serves large-scale commercial and residential buildings in and around Youngstown Ohio. We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician who shares our commitment to exceptional customer service.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential or commercial buildings. The role requires the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with HVAC systems, as well as to communicate effectively with customers and share your expertise.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential or commercial settings
• Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of HVAC systems and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades
• Diagnose complex HVAC system issues and conduct necessary repairs
• Provide clear, concise, and timely communication with customers on the status of work orders and any extra necessary repairs
• Adhere to all applicable safety standards and procedures
• Work independently and in a team environment as needed to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in HVAC system repairs and maintenance
• Certification from a recognized trade school and/or relevant HVAC certifications preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment efficiently
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
