At Douglas Heating and Air Conditioning, we are looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in LaFollette, Tennessee. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as maintaining and installing them as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems
• Repair or replace defective HVAC equipment, controls, or wiring
• Install new HVAC systems and components as needed
• Test HVAC systems to ensure they are working properly
• Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Follow safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or degree in HVAC or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with HVAC systems
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
