Job Description: HVAC Installer at Bill Jensen Heating & Cooling
Bill Jensen Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced HVAC installer to join our team. With the mission to cool down our customers' homes and businesses, we have served as Lake County's air conditioning experts since 1990. We take pride in providing quality services to our clients and aim to bring comfort to their lives. As a HVAC Installer, we expect you to uphold our values and work in line with our mission statement.
Responsibilities:
- Install various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and ductless systems
- Measure and cut appropriate lengths of ducts, insulation, and flexible tubing for each unit
- Connect and test electric wiring, refrigerant lines, and air circulation systems
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure seamless installation
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctioning systems or components
- Operate and maintain necessary tools and equipment
- Follow safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in HVAC installation or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and schematics
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and refrigerant handling
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
