Organization: CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Position Overview: Responsible for providing direct patient care to specific patient populations effectively using the nursing process - Assessment, Planning, Implementation & Continual Reassessment - as the foundation for care delivery. Serves as a patient advocate; effectively coordinates care and continually promotes safety and clinical / service quality in daily practice. Other: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE RN-Registered Nurse of California BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider preferred ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support NIHSS-National Institute of Health Stroke Scale SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever changing environment. Requires excellent critical thinking, communication skills , relationship skills, and clinical / technical expertise in area of specialty. FLOAT POOL REQUIREMENTS Staff Nurse II must float between Van Ness & Mission Bernal campuses Med/Surg & Telemetry departments/units. Pay Range is $77.30 to $104.61 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
