Job Description:
Creative Content Production
Under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Messaging and Outreach, the Creative Content Specialist creates engaging materials to market UF Law to diverse and varied audiences. Develops graphics for marketing brochures, web materials, social media, presentations, digital signage, and emails. Creates interactive content, including video and other multimedia to be used across a variety of digital marketing channels, including website, emails, and social media. Schedules and executes photo shoots and interviews, and otherwise coordinates equipment and any other materials necessary for production. Develops and coordinates the production of printed materials, including programs and brochures. Ensures brand consistency and proper logo usage. Takes headshots of faculty and staff and photos of campus and events as needed.
Strategic Messaging
In collaboration with, and under the direction of the Assistant Dean, and teams across the Levin College of Law, the Creative Content Specialist writes and refines written content for print and digital platforms. This content includes storytelling, website material, digital marketing campaigns, and content for digital displays.
Evolving Duties
The College of Law is rapidly changing and evolving. All staff members are expected to assist with other duties as needed, including duties throughout the entire law school campus.
Expected Salary:
$60,000-$80,000 depending on experience
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of law schools and the legal profession. Degree in telecommunications, marketing, journalism, graphic design, or a related field.
Two years of experience producing multimedia and marketing content. Excellent oral and written communication skills, proofreading and copy-editing skills, and interpersonal/customer service skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Excellent planning and project management skills. Ability to take initiative, accurately establish priorities, complete complex assignments in a timely manner, and adapt quickly to changing needs and conflicting challenges.
Ability to work cooperatively as a team player.
Expert knowledge of software used for video editing, layout, and design. Knowledge of website development and maintenance.
Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms. Multiple software packages, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Audition, Speed Grade, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
