Kendallville Manor is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) for our skilled nursing facility in Kendallville, IN!


Job Overview

The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).


Available Shifts

Full-Time Day shift (6a-6p)


Rate Offered

$20-$22/hr


Responsibilities

  • Verifies identity of patient receiving medication and records name of the drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records.
  • Presents medication to the patient and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication.
  • Takes vital signs or observes patients to detect responses to specified types of medications and prepares reports or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
  • Documents reasons prescribed drugs are not administered.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Program, with successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide designation requirements.
  • Must be 18 years and older.
