CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities:

As a CNA at Fulton County Medical Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assisting with mobility and transferring patients
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms
• Assisting with meals and feeding patients when necessary

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work compassionately and effectively with patients of all ages
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and assisting with patient mobility
