Job Description

Cantex at Creekside Park is currently seeking Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) for The Broadmoor at Creekside Park in The Woodlands, TX. Starting wages range from $15.50 - $16.50 with shift differentials. Weekend differentials are also available.


Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care and services to assigned patients in accordance with their care plan. This includes assisting with personal care, documenting patient information, promoting independence, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.


Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • State certification as a Nursing Assistant
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Essential Functions

The responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing personal care to assigned patients in accordance with safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Promoting and supporting patient independence
  • Reporting patient status to the charge nurse at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Documenting patient observations and conditions as required
  • Promoting a safe and clean environment
  • Complying with procedures for safe lifting and transferring of patients
  • Maintaining and reporting any equipment malfunctions
  • Attending in-service training programs to maintain certification
  • Performing incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed
  • Functioning as a team leader and role model
  • Ensuring patient safety and following abuse prevention policies
  • Performing other duties as assigned
