Seasonal Fruit Expert - Production

Job Overview

This position is for a seasonal Fruit Expert in the production department at Edible Arrangements in Stafford, VA. Immediate positions are available for the Valentine's Day holiday period.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, and/or cut various fruits to prepare for arrangements
• Follow proper food sanitation and handling procedures
• Dip fruit according to production list and supervisor's instructions
• Package arrangements and dipped fruit
• Handle phone traffic, running orders, and opening, mid, and closing cleaning tasks
• Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes in a timely manner
• Organize orders alphabetically and based on zip code
• Inform supervisors when supplies are running low or equipment is not working properly
• Remove trash and clean kitchen waste containers frequently

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of food sanitation procedures
• Ability to read orders and follow verbal and written instructions
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Positive attitude and enjoys working within a team
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Drive and determination for personal and professional growth
• Valid State Driver's License and a clean driving record preferred, if driving
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shift
