Job Title: Education / Infection Control Coordinator - Hiring Urgently

Clark Retirement Community is currently seeking an Education / Infection Control Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is an urgent hiring need as we strive to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents during these challenging times.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement education and training programs for staff to ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
• Assist in the development and maintenance of infection prevention protocols and guidelines
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a culture of infection prevention and control
• Stay up-to-date with current research, trends, and best practices in infection control
• Coordinate and provide education sessions for staff, residents, and families on infection prevention and control measures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to infection control activities

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) with a strong background in infection control
• Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to infection control
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively train and educate staff
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
