Fulfill your requirement to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) by joining Genesis HealthCare as an Administrator in Training (AIT). Under the direction of a NHA/Preceptor, you will participate in a variety of activities at the nursing center. Your success will be measured by your ability to independently lead a nursing center and meet all state-specific standards for licensure eligibility.


Position Highlights

  • Visible role attending regional meetings, conferences, and workshops with NHA/Preceptor
  • Participation in task groups with region-wide and/or company-wide impact
  • Development and execution of special projects that add value to the nursing center
  • Observation or full contribution in all aspects of leading a nursing center, including family conferences, team meetings, new employee orientation, clinical care conferences, financial and labor management meetings, and more
  • Regularly supporting center leadership by providing feedback, support, and information regarding current nursing center operations, as well as suggestions for improvement
  • Gathering knowledge in human resources laws, reimbursement regulations, nursing practices, and regulations pertaining to long-term care

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
