Contract overview

This is a placement contract between you and the employer. If the employer hires a candidate you submit, you'll be paid the contract amount.

The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:

Market price: $800 USDEst.

Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 11 months

Foxdale Village is a Quaker-directed, nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in State College, PA. Foxdale Village was founded on the values of treating all with dignity and respect. We are seeking full and part-time Dining Associates to join our dedicated and caring team.

Dining Associate Job Duties:

Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.

Assist residents by serving and delivering meals or other requested menu items.

Register sales on Point-of-Sale System (POS) by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customers' purchases, and charging customers (residents, staff, visitors, and family members) according to department policies.

Portion food in quantities specified by nutritional standards set by Registered Dietitian and management.

Serve special meals and catered events as needed.

Assist the cooks and prep-cooks as needed and assigned by the team leader and/or management.

Operate dish machines and all other equipment within the department as required and assigned by the team leader and/or management.

Set up and break down the Café, Bistro, and/or Main Dining Room for service.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations according to department.

Sort flatware and glasses as needed.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
Relevant work experience in dining service or food service is preferred.
Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English language with residents and other team members.
Able to work holidays and weekends as part of a schedule rotation.
Possess a reliable and dependable attendance to work profile.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
