Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Cooney Air Conditioning
At Cooney Air Conditioning, we specialize in providing top-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions to our customers. We are seeking an HVAC Service Technician who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring that all HVAC systems are installed and serviced to the highest standards. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC systems for our customers in the Syracuse, New York region.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspecting, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Repair or replace faulty components within HVAC systems, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Install new HVAC systems and related components, including ductwork and electrical wiring.
- Conduct tests to ensure that HVAC systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Communicate with customers regarding their HVAC systems, answering questions and providing recommendations for repairs or replacements.
- Keep detailed records of all HVAC service and installations performed, including parts, labor, and service recommendations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an HVAC training program or relevant apprenticeship.
- Valid HVAC technician certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an HVAC Service Technician.
- A strong understanding of HVAC systems and their components.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
