Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aide to join our team at Nhc Healthcare, Ft Sanders. As a Nurse Aide, you will play a critical role in providing direct care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by nursing staff
• Assist with transfers and ambulation of patients
• Document patient observations and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
• Ensure patient rooms are clean and organized
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide training program
• Current certification as a Nurse Aide
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
