Ashford Gardens is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our team. As a Nurse Aide, you will be responsible for providing essential care and assistance to our residents, ensuring their overall well-being and comfort. Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Provide mobility assistance, transferring residents in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals

- Support individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments

- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of care plans

- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents

- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

- Valid Nurse Aide certification from an accredited program

- Previous experience as a Nurse Aide in a healthcare setting is preferred

- Compassionate and caring nature

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and supporting residents

- Knowledge of infection control and proper use of personal protective equipment

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
