Job Summary:
As a Nurse Scheduler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including recruitment, orientation, and nurse scheduling. You will ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and foster relationships with both employees and external candidates. Additionally, you will oversee all staffing needs and operations of the facility, assist in filling vacancies in a timely manner, and support candidate screening and hiring processes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws

- Assist in filling vacancies in a timely manner
- Support candidate screening and hiring processes
- Assist in the preparation and execution of orientation and training plans
- Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions
- Assist with call-ins, time off requests, and agency coverage as needed
Requirements:
- Valid CNA/QMA certification in good standing
- Proven experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position
- Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
- Clinical experience in addition to long-term care staffing experience is preferred
