Job Title: Full Time RN - NOC Shift

Alderson Convalescent Hospital is currently seeking full-time Registered Nurses (RNs) for the NOC (night) shift position. Most shifts are 8 hours, but some rotations may be on a 12-hour shift. We also have openings for AM/PM shifts, on-call, and per diem work.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain acceptable standards of nursing practice
• Administer medication per physician orders
• Provide total resident care on assigned shifts
• Assist with direct care as needed
• Make decisions in emergency situations
• Make accurate observations, evaluations, and reports regarding residents
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing (D.O.N.) and physician regarding resident care
• Attend required in-services, education, and group meetings
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the D.O.N.

Qualifications

Experience is desired, but new grads are welcome. The job requires a valid RN License in the State of California and a valid BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. Experience in ICU is preferred.
