Job Description:
Diversicare Of Pell City is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a Staff Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility is well-staffed and all shifts are properly covered.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the staff schedule, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts
- Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing needs and schedule changes
- Communicate schedule changes to employees and ensure their understanding
- Handle shift coverage requests and arrange for any necessary adjustments
- Maintain accurate records of staff schedules, time-off requests, and payroll information
- Monitor and record staff attendance, including late arrivals and early departures
- Collaborate with HR and management to address any staffing issues or concerns
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in staff scheduling or a related role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using scheduling software or tools
