Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Ellis Air Conditioning & Heating, a leader in the HVAC industry, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Cedar Hill, Texas. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients
• Travel to clients' locations to inspect and diagnose problems with their HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Install new HVAC systems and components
• Explain service and repair options to clients
• Follow all safety procedures and standards
• Keep track of work performed and materials used
• Attend training seminars and educational classes as needed
Requirements:
• EPA certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC service
• Knowledge of electrical and heating/cooling systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, manuals, and blueprints
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
