A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've provided spiritually motivated care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. Caring for someone isn't just a job, it's a compassionate calling based on deep-rooted spiritual beliefs.

We are seeking a Painter. Full-Time schedule.

Painter Qualifications:

Previous painting and dry wall experience required.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English in an understandable manner.
Must be able to function independently, and be flexible, possess personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, visitors, and staff personnel.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
Is required to assist in the evacuation of residents.
Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays as assigned.
May be required to work in cramped spaces and in adverse weather conditions.

Painter Job Summary:

Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting.
Fill holes with putty, plaster or other fillings.
Mix pigments, paint bases or other ingredients to obtain proper shade of color.
Apply paint with roller, brush or spray gun.
Assist in routine maintenance duties and repairs to the facility as required or assigned by the Director.
Perform unscheduled maintenance and painting as required.
Assist other department members in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc.
