Law Clerk

Description Boutique law firm in San Jose, CA has an immediate opening for a Law Clerk! This Law Clerk will join a growing employment litigation team and report to a Partner. As a Law Clerk with the firm, you'll be instrumental in supporting our team by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and aiding in trial preparation. This position requires on-site work and can potentially transition into a hybrid schedule in the future. This is a great opportunity for JD graduates waiting on Bar results as the intention for this position is to promote into an Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will be pending CA Bar results and have civil litigation experience. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation • Draft legal documents and correspondence • Provide assistance in the discovery process, including the collection, organization, and analysis of documents • Assist in trial preparation, including the coordination of witnesses and the management of evidence • Ensure all legal documents and procedures are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Provide litigation support to attorneys as needed • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Requirements Qualifications: • Must be pending CA Bar results to be considered • Prior civil litigation experience is requires • Experience or knowledge in discovery processes, pleadings, and motions is preferred • Familiarity with Employment Litigation is a plus • Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills • High attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines • Must adhere to professional ethics and demonstrate commitment to the profession • Must have a law degree from an accredited law school Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
