Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Knobel Refrigeration Inc, a leading provider of commercial refrigeration and HVAC solutions in North Platte Nebraska, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing support to our customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, heaters, and refrigeration units. You will collaborate with our team to ensure every project is completed on time and to the highest level of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems to resolve malfunctions
• Respond to service calls and perform emergency repairs as needed
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in HVAC field through continuous training
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Possess a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC service technician role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and related tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and positive attitude towards clients and team members
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, including on-call rotation
