HVAC Service Technician

Location: Pratt, Kansas

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of HVAC systems, as well as installing new systems and providing routine maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests and inspections to identify HVAC malfunctions and failures
• Repair and replace damaged or faulty HVAC equipment, including heating, cooling and ventilation systems
• Install new HVAC systems and components, including ductwork, air handlers, and controls
• Conduct routine maintenance services, including cleaning and changing filters, lubricating motors and bearings, and inspecting electrical and mechanical components
• Document work completed and parts used accurately and comprehensively
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to explain services performed, answer questions, and provide recommendations for ongoing HVAC maintenance and improvements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
• EPA certification required
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours and respond to emergency service calls as needed
