Dietary Aide, Part Time

Valley View Health Care Center is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing quality meals and ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing meals according to specific dietary requirements and portion sizes.
• Set up dining areas, including cleaning and arranging tables and chairs.
• Deliver trays to residents' rooms and assist with feeding, as needed.
• Follow established sanitation and safety procedures.
• Properly handle and store food items.
• Assist in monitoring and documenting residents' food and fluid intake.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure a smooth meal service.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a dietary role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
