Activities Director

Job Posting for Activities Director at McMurray Hills Manor

We are looking for an Activities Director to join our team and help plan and coordinate engaging activities for our residents. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the field of recreation and leisure, be creative and organized, and have excellent communication skills. The Activities Director will be responsible for creating activity plans, leading activities, and ensuring the safety of all participants. Initiate care plans and complete department MDS section for all residents. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents! Responsible for assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement activities for residents.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents.
• Supervise staff and volunteers in the activities department.
• Create a positive atmosphere that encourages participation in activities.
• Organize special events and outings for residents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with outside organizations to provide additional activities for residents.
• Ensure that all activities comply with state and federal regulations.
• Initiate care plans and complete department MDS section for all residents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
