Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
At Lammers Heating and Air, we are a leading provider of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services in Jackson, Michigan. For over 40 years, we have been delivering quality results and providing construction solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As a HVAC Service Technician with us, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations for residential and commercial HVAC systems. You will use your knowledge of HVAC systems to diagnose and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Provide preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations for residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems to determine the source of issues
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Accurately document all work performed and materials used
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Attend training sessions as needed to stay current on new equipment and technologies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- EPA certification required
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
