The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:
Market price: $500 USDEst.
Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 11 months
Bradford Manor in Bradford, PA is currently hiring for the position of Restorative Nurse Coordinator (RN) for a full-time 1st shift. This position comes with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees.
Position Summary:
The Restorative Nurse Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the facility's Restorative Nursing program. They will ensure that all nursing staff follows specific restorative programs, work closely with licensed therapists, and perform functional restorative assessments. The coordinator will also participate in care plan conferences, educate new employees, and monitor the restorative programs.
Essential Functions:
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to provide quality care.
- Commitment to the facility's mission, values, philosophy, and Service Excellence Initiatives.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to stand throughout the day, as well as lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Leadership ability to achieve results through others.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
Position Responsibilities:
- Implement specific restorative programs using the nursing process.
- Work closely with licensed therapists to ensure recommendations are followed through after formal therapy programs.
- Perform functional restorative assessments per facility policy.
- Ensure all restorative nursing measures are reflected in the plan of care.
- Participate in care plan conferences and make recommendations on restorative nursing programs.
- Utilize Electronic Documentation system and reports for restorative nursing programs.
- Educate new employees and provide continuing education on restorative nursing care.
- Monitor restorative programs by making rounds on all shifts.
- Communicate regularly with Director of Nursing on the progress of the restorative program.
- Participate in necessary meetings such as Case Mix, QA process, and Nurse on-call program.
- Maintain professional competence.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse with the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR certification recommended.
