Position: Dietary Aide

We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at Cedar Crest Nursing And Rehabilitation Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our residents. You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to specific dietary requirements and menu guidelines
  • Ensure all food items are stored properly and follow food safety regulations
  • Set up dining areas, including tables, linens, and utensils
  • Serve meals to residents and ensure they receive the correct portions
  • Assist residents with dietary restrictions and special requirements
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with food orders as needed
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure a high standard of service and resident satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
