The role of this position is to support the Bureau Director and Assistant Director in the day-to-day management, operations, and policy analysis and development for various programs under the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority (PEDFA). These programs include the Pennsylvania Community Development Bank, the First Industries Agriculture and Tourism Loan Guarantee program, the Second Stage Loan program, the Tax Increment Financing Guaranty Program, the Pennsylvania Business Opportunities Fund, and the New American Development Fund program. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with various stakeholders, such as public officials, financial consultants, underwriters, trustees, bond and tax counsels, and others.
One unique aspect of this position is that it offers the flexibility to work remotely from home. However, in order to effectively carry out the daily job duties, you must have the necessary technology and resources at their remote location. This includes a reliable internet connection with sufficient speed to connect to the DCED's VPN for accessing work files, as well as the ability to participate in work-related audio and visual communication as required. To ensure a smooth teleworking experience, you will also be required to sign DCED's Teleworking Agreement, which outlines the expectations and responsibilities of a teleworking employee.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
Required Experience, Training & Eligibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in business or public administration or a related field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
