Position: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - NO WEEKEND required

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents. Working under the supervision of registered nurses, you will assist with the activities of daily living and ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help residents with eating and drinking, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers
• Monitor and record vital signs and other health-related information
• Respond to residents' needs promptly and compassionately
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
