Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Pacific Air Conditioning, a leading HVAC installation and maintenance company located in Wailuku, Hawaii, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring their heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems are working efficiently.
Responsibilities:
-Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
-Conduct diagnostic tests on systems to identify malfunctions and recommend solutions.
-Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they're working efficiently and maximize their lifespan.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines when performing maintenance and repairs.
-Document all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each project on job tickets and invoices.
-Proactively develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Stay current with technological advancements in HVAC systems to improve the quality of work performed.
Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
-Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems of various types, brands, and models.
-Ability to read, interpret and analyze schematics and diagrams.
-Knowledge of safety protocols associated with working with refrigerants and electrical systems.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Availability to be on-call and work flexible hours as needed.
