Job Summary:
The ScriptPro Production Fabricator/Assembler is an
advanced-level role that performs assembly and inspection of various
sub-assemblies of the production line, requiring the use of precision
measuring instruments, complex test equipment, and other tools. Work may
involve troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and/or
electromechanical problems. Production Fabricator/Assemblers must also
be proficient in CNC operations. Experience with solid surface
fabrication is also required. High standards of quality are a must.
Typically requires 3-5 years of experience on a ScriptPro Manufacturing
Production team, or an equivalent level of education and experience. Has
knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within
the field.

Job Location:
Merriam, KS
Schedule:
Generally, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. This is an
on-campus position. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an
essential function of every job at ScriptPro.
Scope of the Role:
Fabrication of solid surfaces, utilizing power tools for precise
customization. This process includes grinding, sanding, cleaning,
and polishing to achieve a flawless finish.
Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as
drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
Performing computer commands so the CNC can perform daily tasks
Loading raw materials and parts onto the machines
Set CNC to complete full cycles to fabricate large numbers of parts
Assemble and test products while adhering to procedures and bills of
materials
Validating the product meets the performance requirements and
recording test results
Maintain accuracy of inventory stored in areas of responsibility
Safeguard production equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
Perform inventory cycle counts for area of responsibility and help
resolve inventory discrepancies
Help ensure acceptable levels of quality are maintained
Monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI); the timely and quality
completion of WIP jobs, support the evaluation of products
classified as defective, support continuous improvement and 5S
initiatives
Participate in 5S/continuous improvement audits
Participate in cross-department pilots
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
Technical School Certificate or Associates Degree is preferred
Mechanical and Electrical abilities
Solid troubleshooting ability
Ability to use precision measurement devices
Ability to lift 80 lbs.
High standards of quality and care in finished product
Detail oriented
Dependability
Working Conditions:
This is a very active position. Regularly
required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, bend, reach. Ability to push/pull,
lift 80 lbs. independently. Motor coordination skills and ability to
work with tools. This job includes specific vision abilities including
close, distance, color.
