Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Maddox Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Tyler, Texas. At Maddox, we believe in providing our customers with top-notch service and we need someone who shares that passion. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be working to maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
-Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems
-Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC units
-Perform repairs on HVAC systems
-Install new HVAC systems and components
-Recommend upgrades to improve system performance
-Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years experience in HVAC service
-Knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including electrical, refrigeration, and air-handling systems
-Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
-Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
-Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
-Valid driver's license with a good driving record
-Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation
-EPA certification is a plus
