Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Air-Con of Wakulla is a leading HVAC service and installation company located in Crawfordville, Florida. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As a HVAC Service Technician, you would be responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems for commercial and residential customers. You would also collaborate with our team to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and provide clients with exceptional service.
The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled and experienced technician who is able to work independently and as part of a team. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and dedicated to their craft. You should also be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to keep them operating efficiently and effectively
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems and recommend solutions
- Repair or replace faulty parts, wiring, or equipment
- Install new HVAC systems in commercial and residential settings
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain repairs, costs, and timelines
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and requirements
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete jobs on time and within budget
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- EPA Certification
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight spaces when necessary
