Nutrition Aides - Ashford Gardens

Ashford Gardens is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Nutrition Aides. In this role, you will play a key part in providing nutritional support to our residents, ensuring they receive balanced and healthy meals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents according to their dietary needs and preferences.
• Follow food safety guidelines to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Monitor and record resident food intake and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate staff.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of food supplies and notifying supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop tasty and nutritious menu options for residents.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to residents and their families.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a food service or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
