Job Description: HVAC Installer at Modern Air Mechanical
We are a leading HVAC company, Modern Air Mechanical, looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team in Merced, California. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems in commercial and residential buildings. We need somebody who is knowledgeable in the latest HVAC technology and able to work efficiently, independently, and in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
• Respond to service calls for repairs and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Ensure all installations meet manufacturer's specifications, company standards, and local codes.
• Conduct visual inspections and test systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Provide recommendations to customers on upgrades and repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Relevant certification or technical degree in HVAC.
• At least 2 years of experience working as an HVAC Installer.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
