Oak Village Healthcare is seeking a Director of Nursing RN (DON) for our skilled nursing facility located in Oaktown, IN!


Role Overview

The Director of Nursing Services (DNS) directs and manages the operations of the nursing department.


Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000


Responsibilities

  • Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; follows up on work results.
  • Establishes a positive work environment by providing support to patients and their families.
  • Provides information to patients and the healthcare team by answering questions and requests.
  • Ensures that significant changes in residents' conditions are communicated to the physician and family or responsible party.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with over one year of experience in nurse leadership in a long-term care setting (ADON or DON).
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Experience with the geriatric population preferred.
