Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at ABC Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
As an experienced HVAC Service Technician, you will play a vital role in our company's success by delivering exceptional customer service, performing diagnostic tests, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. At ABC Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, we take pride in providing reliable and high-quality residential plumbing, sewer, heating, cooling, and electric services to our customers in Arlington Heights Illinois and the surrounding areas since 1968.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Install, maintain, and repair all types of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service throughout the service call
- Accurately document services performed and parts used on service tickets
- Collaborate with dispatch and parts departments to ensure on-time and accurate completion of service calls
- Continuously update your technical knowledge and skills to maintain expertise in the field
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle and work area
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC systems
- Knowledge of local HVAC codes and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly document service calls
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug and background check
