Description of Work


As a Registered Nurse at the Delaware Valley Veterans' Home, you will be responsible for providing total nursing care and related services to our residents on designated units. You will ensure adherence to HIPAA standards and establish a therapeutic environment with an emphasis on rehabilitative, restorative, skilled, supportive, and palliative nursing care. Work Schedule and Additional Information


This is a full-time position with rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) and rotating days and weekends. Working every other weekend is required. The starting salary for this position ranges from $84,061.00 to $100,231.00 annually. Please note that the starting salary may be non-negotiable in some cases. Required Experience, Training & Eligibility Qualifications


To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:


  • Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing; or possession of a non-renewable temporary practice permit issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
  • If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
  • A conditional offer of employment may require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
