We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wound Care Tech at Glenview Terrace Nursing Ctr. As a Wound Care Tech, you will be responsible for providing specialized wound care services to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans for each resident
• Cleanse and dress wounds using aseptic technique and following evidence-based practices
• Monitor wound healing progress and document findings in the electronic medical record system
• Provide education and appropriate support to residents and their families regarding wound care management
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless and consistent care delivery
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in wound care techniques and participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certification as a Wound Care Tech
• Previous experience in wound care management preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
