Administrator (Adult Care/Assisted Living) - Elderwood At Williamsville
Elderwood At Williamsville, an 87 bed Enhanced Assisted Living Facility (ALF), is seeking a skilled and compassionate Administrator to join our team. As the Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of caring and talented professionals to ensure the provision of quality health care and daily living services for our residents. Your role will involve driving day-to-day operations, setting goals, and providing the leadership needed to ensure success.
Position Overview:
The Administrator is responsible for the staffing, operations, and daily management of the facility, as well as the provision of quality health care and daily living services for residents in conformance with state and federal laws. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our residents and their families. We prefer candidates with 1-3 years of experience as an Adult Care/Assisted Living Administrator.

Responsibilities:
As the Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Directing and overseeing facility operational activities.
- Promoting and guiding initiatives to improve facility operations and meet goals and objectives.
- Managing multiple objectives simultaneously and multitasking effectively.
- Leading and inspiring others to achieve desired results.
- Providing daily management and training of all staff and management of services through consultants and other contract arrangements.
- Providing quality health care and daily living services for residents in conformance with state and federal laws.
- Promoting respect for the individual and the protection of basic rights in the care and treatment of residents.
- Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, and volunteers, and good working conditions for employees.
- Ensuring resident census remains at capacity, controlling costs for financial stability, and managing resident account and cash monies.
- Providing payroll, billing, and management information to the central office, Elderwood Administrative Services LLC.
- Encouraging staff involvement, customer focus, leadership initiatives, and setting standards for all staff.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A High School diploma plus three years of experience including one year of supervisory experience; or an Associate's degree plus two years of experience with one of those years in a supervisory role; or a Bachelor's Degree.
- Three years of Adult Care/Assisted Living Administrator experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years' experience in management, preferably in healthcare.
- Experience in assisted living or nursing home operations preferred.
- Qualities of leadership, dependability, integrity, and organizational ability necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- An interest in the field of health care, particularly the needs of the geriatric population.
- Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
