Holladay Veterinary Clinic is seeking an immediate FULL time experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We are a busy seven doctor practice providing exemplary care and customer service in a team-oriented environment. We are looking for an individual with strong customer service skills that is detail-oriented and possesses strong problem-solving skills, and is able to maintain a pleasant demeanor when the environment becomes busy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Answering inbound calls, setting appointments and answering general questions
• Welcoming clients into the clinic and getting them checked in for treatment
• Generating invoices, receiving and posting payments
• Processing credit card transactions
• Reviewing clinic emails, sending and receiving faxes
• Assisting with maintaining a clean and tidy lobby area and rooms

• Creating a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment for clients, patients, and staff members
• The ability to gather the proper information on the phone to enable the medical staff to make correct decisions regarding urgency and care needed
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Shows great initiative and can learn new skills quickly
• A friendly, outgoing demeanor with a true desire to make the client experience an exceptional one
• Ability to operate multi-line telephone, copier, printer, email, and fax
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Exhibiting true compassion for owners and their animals

Candidate requirements:

• Must be able to work during the hours of 7am-8pm
• Need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
• Drug testing required for all candidates who are offered a position with us

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
