Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Elite Heating and Cooling
Elite Heating and Cooling, LLC is a leading provider of HVAC services that exceed our clients' expectations. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Grenada, Mississippi. You will be responsible for performing a variety of services related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
As an HVAC Service Technician at Elite Heating and Cooling, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various HVAC equipment and systems, performing system installations and replacements, and providing preventative maintenance to ensure our clients' systems run efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment and systems
- Install and replace HVAC systems and components according to specifications
- Maintain and update service records and documentation for clients
- Ensure that all work performed meets safety guidelines and standards
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on work progress and provide recommendations for system improvements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certificate or degree in HVAC technology or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems including but not limited to air conditioning units, furnaces, and heat pumps
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
