Registration Specialist - Part Time

Registration Specialist Direct Hire in Hanover, PA $14-16/hr Monday – Thursday 9-4pm OR Tuesday – Thursday 12PM-8pm Manpower is assisting a company local to Hanover in hiring two Registration Specialists. These positions are with an AMAZING company that has been providing communities with behavioral and health services for over 40 years. The right candidate for this role will have strong attention to detail and great customer service skills. In this role you will be responsible for the following: Greets/acknowledges customers quickly and professionally upon their entry to the waiting room Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel Presents self in a friendly, professional manner Relates well to customers and puts them at ease Demonstrates a non-judgmental attitude Successfully navigates challenging interactions Effectively uses de-escalation strategies when necessary Maintains a calm demeanor under pressure Checks customers in for their appointments and notifies staff of their arrival Copy/scan/verify insurance cards and IDs for clients at each appointment and attach to the electronic medical record Update customer status to “active” when they attend first appointment Verify and update demographic information for customers who come into the office Accurately collect, maintain, and enter cash, check, and credit card payment for services Weigh customers and take their blood pressure as necessary, and enter the information into the electronic medical record Complete any necessary paperwork with clients, including for Open Access Complete any tasks necessary for D&A clients, including Quest, scanner, and DUI sign-up Professionally document information in the customer’s chart, as necessary ManpowerGroup recognizes the importance of providing an accessible and barrier-free environment.
