Job Description: HVAC Installer
At Steve Patrick A/C & Refrigeration, we are hiring for an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing and servicing HVAC systems to ensure they operate at peak performance. We are looking for someone who is passionate about quality workmanship, safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems including ductwork, air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems
- Ensure all installations meet company, industry, and customer standards and codes
- Conduct safety checks, including leak detections and carbon monoxide testing
- Ensure proper disposal of old equipment and materials
- Communicate effectively with the team, customers, and supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- HVAC Certification or relevant technical training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of HVAC safety protocols and industry codes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
