Contract overview

This is a placement contract between you and the employer. If the employer hires a candidate you submit, you'll be paid the contract amount.

The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:

Market price: $1,000 USDEst.

Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 9 months

Purpose:


Responsible for the timely assembly, final preparation and service of nutritionally-appropriate and attractive meals. Practices appropriate food handling techniques and food safety procedures in all aspects of the job. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills on a consistent basis.


Responsibilities:


  • Assure the necessary food and service equipment/utensils are secured for assigned area prior to meal service.
  • Adhere to department procedures regarding the operation of all food service equipment.
  • Inventories and stocks bulk supplies, following established procedures and designated timeframes (may vary based on Facility/Department requirements).
  • Serve patient meal tray using the designated department script, including proper patient identification (specific to Patient Service responsibilities).
  • Bus tables and sanitize tables and chairs (specific to Patient Service responsibilities).
  • Deliver meals to residents' rooms when requested (specific to Patient Service responsibilities).
  • Set tables for the following meal according to the Food Service Guidelines Manual (specific to Patient Service responsibilities).
  • Assemble and serve meals according to diet orders, menus, and patient/guest specific requirements.
  • Maintain food safety and quality as mandated by PA Department of Health/Allegheny County Health Department/PA Department of Welfare (where applicable).
  • Adhere to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers.
  • Perform sanitation for assigned work area in accordance with departmental procedures and health department guidelines.

Qualifications:


Work permit required if under 18 years old.
