Job Description: HVAC Installer at Farmington Heating & Metal
At Farmington Heating & Metal, we have been providing reliable heating and air conditioning services to residential and commercial clients since 1971. We take pride in our trustworthy technicians who provide safe and courteous service - every time. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team in Farmington, New Mexico.
As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new and existing buildings. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure that every installation is completed to industry standards, meets building codes, and exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems according to blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions
- Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems as needed
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems
- Ensure that all installations are completed on schedule and within budget
- Test HVAC systems to ensure that they are functioning properly
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Installer or related field
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their components
- Technical knowledge of HVAC installation procedures and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design specifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
