Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Siemer Heating & Cooling
Siemer Heating & Cooling, a reputable HVAC company in Schererville, Indiana, is looking for an experienced and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional services to our residential and commercial customers. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems with a level of professionalism that guarantees customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including but not limited to AC units, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and other HVAC-related systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC systems to maintain the system's proper efficiency, diagnose problems, and suggest or initiate appropriate corrective measures.
• Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
• Provide accurate service reports and maintain detailed records of work performed, including time and materials used.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the HVAC industry, including new products, services, and techniques.
• Ensure a high level of safety awareness is maintained by following the company's safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other team members, including sales, support, and management, to ensure the company's overall success.
Requirements:
• A minimum of three years of experience in HVAC systems and related equipment.
• EPA certification and a valid driver's license.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong mechanical skills with experience in servicing HVAC equipment.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• A professional demeanor with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A clean driving record and the ability to pass drug and background checks.
