RN Emergency Services

Phelps Health is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Services team. As an RN in our Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in providing life-saving care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival in the Emergency Department
• Administering medications and providing treatments as ordered
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitoring patients' condition and response to treatment
• Providing education and support to patients and their families
• Maintaining accurate and complete medical records
• Adhering to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements

• Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
